Roles
- Observer. Follows proposals, reviews, and releases.
- Contributor. Submits a draft proposal for a standard, mapping, type, point, unit, profile, or industry.
- Technical Reviewer. Reviews technical content before a regional review.
- Regional Steward. Reviews a proposal against a recorded regional profile.
- Standards Organization Liaison. Carries comments for a standards organization. The role does not transfer ownership of a native standard.
- Security Reviewer. Reviews security and trust notes. The role does not operate vehicle or device PKI.
- Conformance Laboratory. Records conformance results. A laboratory role is not itself a certification.
- Maintainer. Publishes an approved release. Maintainers do not reuse identifiers.
